The Blue Tide Way
The Blue Tide Way is an evidence-based framework designed to improve school climate, promote positive behavior, and enhance student outcomes. The Blue Tide Way focuses on teaching and reinforcing expected behaviors, using consistent systems of support, and applying data-driven decision-making to address the diverse needs of all students. By establishing clear expectations, recognizing positive behavior, and providing targeted interventions when needed, The Blue Tide Way creates a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Blue Tide Way will work with the students in the Student Council and Beta Club to promote a positive school environment. The Blue Tide Way provides incentives and rewards to promote a positive learning environment.
The Blue Tide Way coach is Ms. Garrido. Ms. Garrido supports and guides The Blue Tide Way Team with implementing and sustaining the elements of positive behavior and an inclusive learning environment. She is also the MTSS Coordinator that supports The Blue Tide Way in the belief that academics, behavior and well-being make up the “whole child”. The Georgia Multi-Tiered System of Supports (GaMTSS) is designed to help all children succeed by providing different levels of support based on student needs. This approach ensures that every student gets the support they need at the right time.
