Choosing Healthy Activities & Methods Promoting Safety
C.H.A.M.P.S is an educational initiative from the Georgia Sheriffs' Association designed to equip fifth-grade students with the skills to be safe, healthy, and happy. The program covers a wide range of subjects, including alcohol and drug awareness, bullying, internet safety, ATV and hunting safety, and making healthy choices. McClelland Elementary's CHAMPS instructor is Investigator Zach Thorn. He educates our 5th grade students on this extensive curriculum.
