Our first Book Fair of the year is next week. It will be open for our students each day from 7:45-2:45. We will host a Parent/Community Shopping Spree Event on Thursday, September25th from 3:00-4:00 PM.

Due to a scheduling conflict with the Long County High School Homecoming Parade, we are rescheduling the Fall Ball to ensure all students have the opportunity to attend both events. The new date for the Fall Ball will be October 16th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to accommodate everyone’s plans.

McClelland Elementary is excited to announce our upcoming Fall Ball. Please begin making plans to attend now. Every student and two adult guests are invited to attend. We will sell advance entry tickets and activity tickets until September 12th, so you can skip the line at the dance. The activity tickets will be for concessions and photo booth with printed photo. The entry tickets will include the dance and complimentary cookies and a drink. Stay tuned to find out more about this fun event.

At the Long County Board of Education, the 24-25 enrollment will close on May 8. The 25-26 enrollment will open on May 9.

Additionally, please be informed that the possession, sale, or distribution of any unauthorized substances at our schools, athletic facilities, events, or on school buses will be punished to the fullest extent and violators will be referred to local law enforcement. The health and safety of our students are our top priorities. Therefore, we are seeking the assistance of our parents, families, and community to help us protect our children from accidentally or intentionally ingesting dangerous substances.
